RecruitNet International Ltd specialises in healthcare recruitment for both domestic and overseas candidates across hospitals, nursing homes, home care, and community care services.
We are currently recruiting a Respiratory Physiologist for a hospital in Cork, Ireland.
Responsibilities
Perform a range of respiratory and pulmonary function tests in accordance with established clinical protocols.Conduct respiratory assessments and physiological measurements, ensuring accurate and reliable results.
Prepare patients for respiratory investigations and explain procedures clearly to ensure their comfort and cooperation.
Monitor patients throughout procedures and respond appropriately to any concerns or changes in their condition.
Analyse and interpret respiratory test results and prepare accurate clinical reports.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and clinical documentation.
Requirements
Hold a Physiologist/Clinical Measurement degree or equivalent recognised by the Irish Institute of Clinical Measurement Science (IICMS); orHold the Certificate in Medical Physics and Physiological Measurement (MPPM) from Dublin Institute of Technology or an equivalent qualification confirmed by IICMS.Minimum 1 year post-qualification experience as a Respiratory Technician/Respiratory Physiologist in an acute hospital setting.Excellent interpersonal skills with a strong awareness of and sensitivity to patient needs.Strong organisational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage a high-volume workload and prioritise effectively.Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team and collaborate with colleagues both within and outside the organisation.Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality patient care.Benefits
