Power BI Developer

Dayton, Ohio Metro Area  |  Hybrid  |  Full-Time, Direct Hire

Proposed Salary Range: $70,000–$90,000 annually

Position Overview

Zer04 Consulting is recruiting a Power BI Developer for a confidential client seeking a hands-on technology professional who can create useful reporting solutions and improve business applications across the Microsoft ecosystem. This opportunity blends Power BI reporting and data analysis with SharePoint solutions, workflow automation using Power Automate, and Azure-related integration and application work.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, enhance, and support Power BI reports and dashboards that turn business data into actionable information.
• Build and maintain SharePoint-based solutions and Microsoft 365 workflows, including automation with Power Automate.
• Work with Azure services and application/data integrations to connect systems and streamline processes.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements, troubleshoot issues, and translate business needs into practical solutions.
• Use appropriate web development and scripting tools to extend or integrate business applications.
• Document solutions and support end users through training, guidance, and ongoing application enhancements.

Required Qualifications

• Hands-on experience creating or maintaining reports and visualizations in Power BI.
• Practical experience with SharePoint and Power Automate in a Microsoft 365 environment.
• Working experience with Microsoft Azure relevant to applications, data, or integrations.
• Experience developing or supporting business applications, including troubleshooting and working with business users.
• Ability to work with APIs or related integrations and apply scripting or programming concepts as needed.
• Must be authorized to work in the US without sponsorship.  No corp-to-corp arrangements.
• Ability to work in a hybrid arrangement in the Dayton, Ohio metro area; specific onsite cadence will be confirmed during the hiring process.

Preferred Qualifications

• JavaScript, HTML/CSS, or related web development experience.
• Exposure to C#/.NET, Node.js, or similar application development technologies.
• Experience with Microsoft Teams, accounting-related data, or operational reporting and system integrations.
