We are hiring Assistant Director Of Nursing-Nursing Practice Development Co-Ordinator  Posts for a hospital located in Cork, Ireland.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement an annual nursing practice development programme across the hospital and evaluate its effectiveness.

  • Provide leadership on quality and patient safety matters, overseeing the implementation of an annual nursing practice development and improvement plan.

  • Lead quality and safety governance initiatives and participate in accreditation committees related to patient safety.

  • Coordinate monitoring and audit activities to assess nursing-related patient safety, patient satisfaction and clinical outcomes.

  • Conduct regular assessments to identify education and training needs across the nursing workforce.

  • Provide nursing management with relevant information to support decisions regarding appropriate staffing levels and skill mix.




Requirements

  • Minimum of five years’ post-registration experience, including at least two years’ experience in or involvement with clinical practice management, practice development, education or quality improvement.

  • Strong commitment to patient safety, quality of care and professional values.

  • Excellent interpersonal, organisational and communication skills.

  • Ability to work independently, demonstrate initiative and maintain a high level of self-motivation.
