Deputy GM, IT Data and Infrastructure

The Deputy GM of IT Data & Infrastructure provides strategic leadership and operational support to the CTO, overseeing the organization’s IT database admin,
infrastructure, and systems. This role is instrumental in driving technological innovation, ensuring system security, and supporting business growth through scalable IT
solutions.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Electronic & Communication Engineering, Computer Science or equivalent.MBA is highly preferable
  
• 15 years of experience
  
• PMP-CISSP-ITIL
  
• Proven track record of managing large-scale IT infrastructure and data projects
  
• strong knowledge of cybersecurity, cloud, and enterprise architecture frameworks
  
• Lead and manage the IT data and infrastructure teams, including database management, system administration, IT helpdesk, and data protection.
  
• Develop and implement IT strategies aligned with organizational goals, focusing on security, scalability, and efficiency.
  
• Oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of IT infrastructure projects, ensuring timely and within-budget completion.
  
• Ensure the integrity, security, and compliance of all IT data and systems.
  
• Collaborate with business units to identify technology needs and develop innovative solutions.
  
• Manage vendor relationships and negotiate contracts for hardware, software, and services.
  
• Monitor and optimize IT system performance, conducting regular audits and risk assessments.
  

The candidates should have proven experience in:

• Leading large Infrastructure & IT Operations teams, including managers.
  
• Working in a complex, 24/7, mission-critical environment.
  
• Managing large-scale Data Centers, Networks, System Admin, Servers, Storage, DR/BCP, and IT Operations.
  
• Managing major incidents, availability, operational risks, and business continuity.
  
• Ideally having experience in banking, payments, fintech, telecom, or other mission-critical industries.
