Junior Analytics Assistant

Pixel Systems is adding a Junior Analytics Assistant to help us support a project for a Hamburg-based renewable energy firm. We are building the internal tools this firm needs to track energy production and hardware maintenance across their entire network. This is a permanent, full-time position that is entirely remote. You will be helping our team organize incoming data, check for errors, and ensure that the dashboards we build for the client are showing accurate information.

The role
As a Junior Analytics Assistant, your work will revolve around the data that powers our applications. For the renewable energy project, this means helping us move data from various legacy sources into a modern Postgres database. You will be responsible for checking that the data remains consistent during these transfers and identifying any gaps that might lead to incorrect reporting.
A typical day might involve cleaning up large spreadsheets, verifying that API connections are pulling the correct numbers, or assisting our developers in setting up basic SQL queries. You will also help create and test the internal dashboards that the client uses to monitor their wind and solar assets. This role is about the details: making sure dates are formatted correctly, checking that totals add up, and ensuring that the client has a clear view of their operations. Since we are a remote company, you will manage your own tasks while staying in constant contact with the rest of the team through chat and video calls.

What you bring
We are looking for someone who is organized and enjoys working with data. You do not need a long history of professional experience, but you should have a solid foundation in the following areas:

• A high level of comfort with spreadsheets, including the use of formulas and data filtering.
