Video Editor

Job Title: Video Editor for Weekly Podcast (Experienced/Pro Only)

We're looking for a skilled video editor to handle editing for our weekly podcast on an ongoing basis. This is a recurring role we need someone reliable who can turn around episodes on a consistent weekly schedule.

Responsibilities:

• Edit raw podcast footage into a polished, engaging final video
• Cut dead air, filler words, and mistakes while keeping the conversation natural
• Add basic visual elements (intro/outro, lower thirds, captions/subtitles, b-rolls lxsimple graphics as needed)
• Color and audio balancing for consistent quality episode to episode
• Deliver edited episodes on a weekly deadline
• Cut short clips for social media from the full episode

Requirements:

• Proven experience editing podcast or long-form talking-head video content
• Strong sense of pacing and timing knows how to ke⁶lkķep viewers engaged
• Comfortable working with a recurring weekly deadline
• Proficiency in [Premiere Pro / DaVinci Resolve / Final Cut pick your tool or leave open]
• Good communication and ability to take feedback
