Kendrick Recruitment is currently seeking an experienced and passionate Lodge Management Couple to join a luxury contemporary safari lodge in the Kruger National Park, Mpumalanga. This is an exciting opportunity for a well-rounded couple with strong hospitality experience who can work together to ensure the smooth and professional running of the lodge.

Position overview:

• Location: Kruger National Park, Mpumalanga
  
• Property: Luxury contemporary safari lodge
  
• Position: Lodge Management Couple
  
• Salary: R20,000 – R24,000 per person, negotiable depending on experience
  

Key responsibilities:

• Oversee the day-to-day operations of the lodge and ensure consistently high service standards.
  
• Manage and motivate staff, promoting a positive and professional working environment.
  
• Ensure guests receive personalised, attentive and exceptional service throughout their stay.
  
• Assist with lodge administration, stock control, purchasing and general operational requirements.
  
• Maintain strong relationships with guests and ensure any concerns or requests are handled efficiently.
  
• Work closely with the lodge team to maintain high standards across guest areas, rooms, food and beverage and general operations.
  
• Assist with staff training, scheduling and performance management where required.
  
• Ensure lodge standards, procedures and health and safety requirements are consistently maintained.
  
• Take responsibility for the overall guest experience and smooth running of the property.
  

Requirements:

• Previous lodge management or senior hospitality experience is essential.
  
• Experience within a luxury safari lodge or similar high-end hospitality environment will be highly advantageous.
  
• Strong leadership and people-management skills.
  
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  
• A hands-on approach with the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
  
• Strong organisational and administrative skills.
  
• Professional, well-presented and guest-focused.
  
• Both candidates should be adaptable, energetic and comfortable working in a remote lodge environment.
  
• A valid driver’s licence is advantageous.
