Marketing Generalist

Role Overview

We're looking for a sharp, versatile Marketing Generalist to support a founder or small team across the full range of marketing work needed to grow the business, whether that's generating demand for a B2B product or building an audience for a B2C brand. This isn't a single-lane role, you'll move between content, campaigns, research, and coordination depending on what the business needs that week.

Core Responsibilities

Content & Social Media — 30%

• Draft, schedule, and publish content across social platforms
  

• Support basic content creation (posts, captions, graphics, short-form edits)
  

• Maintain a content calendar and keep it on track
  

Campaigns & Growth — 30%

• Support execution of email campaigns, newsletters, and promotions
  

• Assist with basic paid ad setup and tracking, if applicable
  

• Conduct research on competitors, trends, and audience insights
  

Marketing Operations — 25%

• Track performance metrics and put together basic reports
  

• Keep marketing assets, files, and documentation organized
  

• Coordinate with freelancers, designers, or agencies as needed
  

Ad-Hoc & Special Projects — 15%

• Support launches, events, or one-off marketing initiatives
  

• Pick up new tasks as the founder's priorities shift
  

• Research and test new channels or tactics as needed
  

Requirements

Requirements

Must-Haves

• 2+ years of experience across marketing (content, campaigns, or growth)
  

• Strong written English and an eye for clear, engaging content
  

• Comfortable switching between different types of tasks day to day
  

• Ability to work independently in a remote environment
  

• Quick to pick up new tools and ways of working
  

Nice-to-Haves

• Experience supporting a founder or small team directly
  

• Background in a small or fast-moving company
  

• Basic design skills (Canva, Figma, or similar)
  

• Curiosity about AI tools and how they can speed up your work
  

Tools

Must-Haves

• Google Workspace (Gmail, Calendar, Docs, Sheets)
  

• One social media scheduling or content tool (Buffer, Later, Canva, or similar)
  

Nice-to-Haves

• Notion, Trello, ClickUp, or similar project management tools
