Electrical Estimation Engineer

We are Sisco Jobs, a recruitment consultancy based in Trichy, Tamil Nadu. We are hiring on behalf of our client for the position of Electrical Estimation Engineer in Saudi. Our client is seeking an experienced electrical estimation professional with strong tendering expertise and substantial KSA exposure. Key Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed electrical estimates, quantity take-offs, and cost calculations for projects and tenders.
  
• Review drawings, specifications, BOQs, and tender documents to identify electrical scope and requirements.
  
• Develop accurate material, equipment, labour, and installation cost estimates.
  
• Analyze tender requirements and prepare competitive commercial submissions.
  
• Coordinate with engineering, procurement, and project teams to validate quantities and pricing.
  
• Obtain and evaluate supplier/subcontractor quotations for electrical works.
  
• Identify scope variations, exclusions, assumptions, and commercial risks during tender preparation.
  
• Maintain estimation records and support post-tender clarifications and negotiations.
  

Required Skills

1. Electrical Estimation — Strong experience preparing estimates for electrical works.
   
2. Tendering — Hands-on experience handling electrical tender submissions.
   
3. BOQ & Quantity Take-Off — Ability to interpret project documents and quantify electrical requirements.
   
4. Costing & Pricing — Experience developing material, labour, and installation cost estimates.
   
5. Electrical Project Knowledge — Practical understanding of electrical construction and project requirements.
   

Preferred Skills

• Experience with major electrical/infrastructure projects in KSA.
  
• Familiarity with Saudi project specifications and tendering practices.
  
• Experience coordinating with suppliers and subcontractors.
  

Work Experience Requirements
8–12+ years of electrical estimation and tendering experience is required, including at least 3 years of relevant experience in KSA. Candidates should have substantial exposure to electrical project estimation, tender documentation, BOQ analysis, and commercial costing.

Education

• Minimum: Typical — Diploma/B.E./B.Tech in Electrical Engineering
  
• Preferred: Relevant postgraduate qualification or professional certification
