A Project Management Internship at Tech Pipeline is not about sitting in meetings or managing abstract timelines. We focus on the practical friction that stops companies from functioning. Currently, we are supporting a leading British investment firm with headquarters in the United Kingdom to resolve issues within their internal reporting chains. They are struggling with manual reconciliations and stale data that creates significant operational drag. As an intern, you will help us map out these broken processes and document the fixes we implement. This is a full-time, fully remote position where you will see exactly how technical operations are repaired in a high-stakes environment.

What You Will Do

• Monitor project logs to identify where data updates are failing for our investment firm client.
• Update internal runbooks and SOPs to reflect new routing rules as we implement them.
• Track the status of open tickets and ensure that decision logs are kept up to date.
• Help coordinate the schedule for system cutovers to minimize disruption to the client team.
• Assist in the manual reconciliation of data during the initial phases of a process cleanup.
• Gather requirements from the client ops lead to ensure our technical fixes match their daily reality.
• Draft weekly written updates that summarize project progress and identify current blockers.
• Organize the project backlog to ensure the engineering team is working on the highest priority fixes.

What You Bring

• A high level of organization and a habit of taking detailed, clear notes.
• A genuine curiosity about how complex systems work and why they eventually break.
• Basic familiarity with tools used for tracking tasks, such as Trello, Jira, or even a well-kept spreadsheet.
• The ability to explain a technical problem using plain language without relying on corporate jargon.
• Willingness to learn how to read system logs and understand data flow diagrams.
• A disciplined approach to working remotely, including the ability to manage your own schedule and stay on task.
• Some experience from university projects or prior work that required coordinating different groups of people.
• An interest in the financial sector or investment operations.
