Housekeeper | 5-Star Boutique Hotel | Plettenberg Bay, Western Cape

Kendrick Recruitment is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join a prestigious 5-star boutique hotel in Plettenberg Bay. The ideal candidate will take pride in maintaining exceptional cleanliness and presentation standards while ensuring guests enjoy a comfortable and memorable stay.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain the cleanliness and presentation of guest rooms, bathrooms and public areas.
  

• Ensure rooms are serviced to the highest standards.
  

• Change linen, replenish amenities and maintain housekeeping supplies.
  

• Report maintenance issues and any lost property promptly.
  

• Follow established cleaning procedures, hygiene standards and safety protocols.
  

• Assist with laundry duties and stock control where required.
  

• Work closely with the housekeeping team to ensure efficient daily operations.
  

• Maintain discretion and professionalism when working in guest areas.
  

Requirements:

• Previous housekeeping experience within a hotel or luxury hospitality environment.
  

• Experience in a 5-star or boutique property will be advantageous.
  

• Strong attention to detail and pride in maintaining high cleanliness standards.
  

• Good time management and organisational skills.
  

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  

• Reliable, professional and well-presented.
  

• Willingness to work shifts, weekends and public holidays as required.
  

Salary: Negotiable, depending on experience.
