Key Responsibilities:

Assist the General Manager with the overall management of camp/lodge operations.

Lead and develop teams while fostering a positive, high-performance culture.

Oversee daily Front of House and Back of House operations.

Assist with budgets, financial controls, cost optimisation, and capital projects.

Maintain exceptional guest service and operational standards.

Coordinate departmental activities, maintenance, food quality, and guest experiences.

Drive staff training, skills development, and succession planning.

Support conservation, sustainability, and community development initiatives.

Ensure compliance with health, safety, security, and operational procedures.

Requirements

At least 8 years of management experience.

Previous hospitality or service industry experience, working with both guests and staff.

Experience managing an operation with more than 30 beds.

Strong leadership, communication, coaching, and people development skills.

Excellent financial and commercial acumen.

Ability to work under pressure, make independent decisions, and work flexible hours.

A passion for guest satisfaction, conservation, sustainability, and community development.
