Fabricator – Marine

Responsibilities

• Carry out fabrication, cutting, fitting, grinding, and assembly of marine structural components.
  
• Fabricate and repair supports, frames, platforms, brackets, handrails, and deck structures.
  
• Read and follow fabrication drawings, measurements, and job specifications.
  
• Use cutting, grinding, drilling, and fabrication tools safely.
  
• Coordinate with welders, fitters, and marine crew during fabrication activities.
  
• Follow PTW, hot work, housekeeping, and HSE requirements.
  

Requirements

Requirements

• Minimum 3–5 years of welding experience in marine projects.
  
• Experience on vessels, barges, shipyards, ports, or marine facilities.
  
• Skilled in SMAW / GTAW / FCAW / MIG welding as applicable.
  
• Able to read basic fabrication drawings and welding symbols.
  
• Valid Welder Qualification Certificate / trade certificate preferred.
  
• Good knowledge of hot work safety and marine working conditions.
