Resource & Inclusion Teacher | Special Education | SC

Our organization is working with a South Carolina school district to recruit a skilled Special Education Teacher for a resource and inclusion role. This position is a great fit for an educator who values individualized instruction, inclusive classroom practices, and strong collaboration with general education staff.

In this role, the teacher will support students with varying learning needs by delivering specialized instruction aligned with their IEPs. Responsibilities include tracking student growth, providing appropriate modifications and accommodations, and partnering with teachers, families, and school-based professionals to help students make meaningful academic and developmental progress.

Job Details:

Provide targeted instruction through resource, small-group, and inclusion services. Support the implementation of IEP goals, accommodations, and instructional modifications. Evaluate and document student progress while making instructional adjustments as needed. Work collaboratively with general education teachers, families, and related-service professionals. Attend IEP meetings and assist with developing and reviewing individualized student goals. Maintain a positive, supportive classroom environment that encourages student engagement and success.

Requirements

• A Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university is required.
  
• Strong communication, organization, collaboration, and classroom-management skills.
  
• Previous experience working with students receiving special education services preferred.
  
• Valid South Carolina teaching certification in Multi-Categorical or Learning Disabilities (LD) required.
