CNC Macchinist

A precision, quality-driven, regulated manufacturer with a medical device focus needs skilled CNC Machinists. You’ll work with advanced multi-axis technology producing precision medical device components. Equipment: Mazak Integrex 100 & 200 with lower turrets, Mazak Variaxis 5-Axis Machining Centers, Star Swiss-Type CNC Lathes, and advanced multi-axis milling and turning platforms.

Key Responsibilities

• Setup and operate CNC machining equipment
  
• Read blueprints, engineering drawings, and process documentation
  
• Select tooling and adjust offsets
  
• Verify dimensions with precision measuring equipment
  
• Perform first-piece, in-process, and final inspections
  
• Hold tight tolerances and superior surface finishes
  
• Troubleshoot machining issues and improve efficiency
  
• Support continuous improvement
  
• Perform routine machine maintenance and housekeeping
  

Requirements

• 2+ years of CNC machining; independent setup and operation
  
• Strong blueprint reading
  
• Experience with calipers, micrometers, indicators, and other precision measuring equipment
  
• Understanding of feeds, speeds, tooling, offsets, and machining fundamentals
  
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
  
• Preferred: Mazak machining centers, Mazatrol, Swiss-style lathes, multi-axis, medical device / aerospace / defense, tight-tolerance work
