Pulmonologist

Job Title: Pulmonologist (Respiratory Medicine) – France

Location: Marseille, 10th Arrondissement, France (Approx. 10 km from the Old Port)

Employment Type: Full-time / Part-time | Self-employed (Liberal Practice) or Salaried

Work Schedule: Minimum 2 days per week (Minimum 4-hour sessions)

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct outpatient pulmonology consultations.
  
• Diagnose and manage respiratory diseases including:
  
  • Asthma
    
  • COPD
    
  • Respiratory allergies
    
  • Sleep apnea
    
  • Respiratory infections
    
• Interpret Pulmonary Function Tests (PFT/EFR) with dedicated nursing support.
  
• Develop treatment plans and provide ongoing patient follow-up.
  
• Prescribe medications and communicate diagnostic results.
  
• Educate patients on disease management and preventive care.
  
• Collaborate with specialists across multiple disciplines within the medical center.
  
• Maintain accurate electronic medical records using Doctolib and internal clinical systems.
  

Salary: Net Income: €15,000–€18,000 per month

Requirements

MD/DM/DNB or equivalent Specialist qualification in Pulmonology/Respiratory Medicine.
Specialist diploma must be eligible for recognition in the European Union.
French language proficiency at B2 level or above (mandatory for clinical communication).
Strong independent outpatient clinical experience.
Ability to work autonomously with sound clinical judgment.
Willingness to work within the French healthcare system as either a self-employed or salaried physician.
Comfortable using electronic medical record systems and digital healthcare platforms.
Strong organizational and administrative skills.
