Require an IME Team Leader in Nairobi,Kenya

• Develop new business across corporate, incentive, association and travel-trade markets.
  
• Build and manage a strong sales pipeline and strategic client relationships.
  
• Lead the preparation of competitive proposals, quotations, itineraries and presentations.
  
• Ensure pricing meets approved profitability targets.
  
• Plan and oversee conferences, incentive programmes, exhibitions, corporate events and inbound leisure groups.
  
• Coordinate venues, accommodation, transport, guides, entertainment and other logistics.
  
• Negotiate competitive terms and maintain strong relationships with suppliers.
  
• Monitor revenue, margins, service quality and operational risks.
  
• Lead and mentor the IME Assistant.
  
• Represent the company at relevant trade shows, roadshows and industry events.
  

Requirements

• Degree or diploma in Tourism, Hospitality, Business, Events Management or a related field.
  
• At least five years’ experience in tourism, destination management or hospitality, including three years in a supervisory role.
  
• Experience managing inbound leisure groups, conferences or incentive programmes.
  
• Proven sales, business development and client relationship management experience.
  
• Strong commercial, negotiation and project management skills.
  
• Excellent written and spoken English.
  
• Experience using Tourplan and Wetu would be an advantage.
  
• Additional language skills would be an added advantage.
