Production Planner

Responsible for planning, coordinating and monitoring production activities to support the achievement of safe, efficient and planned mining production targets.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain production plans and schedules.
• Coordinate drilling, blasting, loading and hauling activities.
• Track production against planned targets.
• Identify production bottlenecks and recommend corrective actions.
• Coordinate with production and operational teams.
• Monitor production performance and prepare relevant reports.
• Support continuous improvement of production planning processes.

Requirements

• Degree or Diploma in Mining Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 5 years' experience in opencast production planning.
• Experience in a mining production environment.
• Strong planning, coordination and reporting skills.
• Computer literacy and ability to work with production planning systems.
