Technical Presales Engineer – Cybersecurity

📍 Zaventem, Belgium | Permanent contract | Hybrid

We are looking for a Technical Presales Engineer to support the growth of a cybersecurity company in the Belgian and Dutch markets.

You will work closely with clients to understand their needs, recommend suitable cybersecurity solutions and turn those solutions into clear technical and commercial proposals. The portfolio covers areas such as managed security services, intrusion detection, application security and security governance.

Your responsibilities

• Advise clients on cybersecurity solutions tailored to their requirements.

• Prepare technical and commercial offers using internal tools.

• Explain complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.

• Follow market developments and regulatory requirements, including NIS2 and DORA.

• Build relationships with clients, vendors and partners.

• Collaborate with sales and technical colleagues across a distributed team.

Your profile

• Bachelor’s degree or higher.

• At least 3 years of relevant experience in technical presales, cybersecurity or a closely related client-facing role.

• Strong communication, commercial and relationship-building skills.

• Ability to work independently and manage several stakeholders.

• Dutch at C2 level, French at B2/C1 level and English at B2 level. All three languages are required.

What’s offered

• Permanent contract and a gross annual base salary of €47,000–€60,000, paid over 13 months.
