Senior Business Intelligence Analyst

As a Senior Business Intelligence Analyst, you will serve as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) with a primary focus on advanced analytics, while combining deep expertise across Data Architecture, Process Auditing, and Process Documentation. A core component of this role is leveraging advanced statistical and analytical methodologies, including descriptive, diagnostic, predictive, and prescriptive analytics, to uncover deep business insights, forecast future trends, and drive strategic decision-making. You will also play a pivotal leadership role by supporting the BI Supervisor and BI Manager in strategic planning, daily operations, and project execution. Furthermore, you will mentor, train, and upskill junior BI Analysts across various competencies, ensuring that data pipelines are scalable, reporting foundations are accurate, compliance controls are robust, and end-to-end processes are thoroughly documented to foster continuous improvement.

What You’ll Do:

Advanced Data Analysis & Reporting

● Apply advanced statistical and analytics methodologies (descriptive, diagnostic, predictive, and prescriptive analytics) to extract meaningful trends, forecast business outcomes, and drive strategic decision-making.

● Conduct in-depth data analysis to uncover deep insights and solve complex business problems.

● Design, develop, and maintain advanced dashboards and reporting systems using BI tools (Google Looker, Excel, SQL) tailored to stakeholder needs.

● Develop compelling presentations leveraging advanced data storytelling to guide leadership and decision-makers. Leadership, Mentorship, & Strategic Support

● Serve as the primary Subject Matter Expert (SME) across all BI functions, with a heavy emphasis on advanced analytics and statistical modeling.

● Assist the BI Supervisor and Senior Manager in operational oversight, strategic BI planning, and cross-departmental alignment.

● Develop and execute comprehensive training and upskilling programs for BI Analysts to elevate the team's overall technical and analytical capabilities.

● Collaborate with senior leadership to provide expert, data-driven recommendations on business strategies and operational improvements.

Data Architecture & Automation

● Design, maintain, and optimize scalable data models, schemas, and reporting layers to support organizational analytics.

● Partner with MIS and IT teams to architect automated data pipelines and ETL processes, significantly reducing manual data handling.

● Establish and enforce data standards, naming conventions, and architectural best practices to ensure data integrity and scalability

Process Audit & Compliance

● Conduct scheduled and ad-hoc audits of operational processes, KPI tracking methodologies, and reporting controls to ensure alignment with SOW requirements.

● Analyze audit findings to identify root causes of control failures, non-compliance, and data risks.

● Partner with Operations, QA, and Training teams to recommend corrective actions and track remediation plans to closure.

Process Documentation & Standardization

● Capture, standardize, and maintain end-to-end process documentation (SOPs, workflows) ensuring adherence to governance templates and formatting guidelines.

● Facilitate validation sessions with SMEs to ensure documentation accurately reflects actual operational

practices and addresses any undocumented gaps.

● Maintain strict version control, document lifecycle management, and accessible knowledge repositories

for all BI and operational processes.

What We’re Looking For:

● 4-6+ years of BPO experience, preferably in Workforce Management, Operations, or Process Excellence.

● 5-8+ years of comprehensive experience in Business Intelligence, with a primary focus on advanced analytics, statistical modeling, and data science methodologies (descriptive, predictive, diagnostic).

● Demonstrated capability in utilizing statistical techniques to forecast trends and analyze complex datasets.

● Proven leadership skills with a successful track record of mentoring, training, and upskilling cross-functional analytics teams.

● Advanced proficiency in BI tools such as Google Looker, MS Excel, SQL, and other data visualization platforms.

● Demonstrated experience in ETL processes, data integration, KPI auditing frameworks, and SOP creation using Google Docs/Sheets.

● Exceptional analytical, critical thinking, root-cause analysis, and problem-solving abilities.

● Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to seamlessly bridge the gap between technical teams

and non-technical business stakeholders.

Qualifications Education:

● Bachelor's degree in Business, Data Science, Statistics, Information Systems, Industrial Engineering, Analytics, or a related technical field.

● Must be a self-motivator and self-starter capable of managing multiple high-priority initiatives in a fast-paced environment.
