Graphic Designer

About the Role

Swell Pass is seeking a creative and detail-oriented Graphic Designer Intern to support visual storytelling across digital and brand channels. This remote, part-time opportunity is ideal for someone with some college education who wants hands-on experience creating compelling design assets while collaborating with a fast-moving team based in San Diego, California.

Compensation: Compensation for this part-time internship is $18-$20 USD per hour.

Responsibilities

1. Create digital and print-ready design assets that align with brand standards and campaign goals.
2. Collaborate with marketing and cross-functional partners to develop graphics for social media, presentations, email, and web content.
3. Revise and refine creative materials based on feedback while managing multiple assignments and deadlines.
4. Help maintain organized design files, templates, and asset libraries for efficient team use.
5. Post across social media channels the content.

Qualifications

1. Some college coursework in graphic design, visual communications, fine arts, or a related field.
2. Proficiency with common design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite or similar software.
3. Strong visual design sense with attention to typography, layout, color, and brand consistency.
4. Ability to communicate clearly, accept feedback constructively, and work independently in a remote environment.
5. Proficient with Figma.

Preferred Qualifications

1. A portfolio showcasing creative projects across digital, branding, or marketing design.
2. Experience designing content for social media, email campaigns, or website graphics.
3. Familiarity with basic motion graphics, illustration, or photo editing techniques.
4. Strong time management skills and enthusiasm for learning in a collaborative internship setting.
