Accountant Supervisor

Le Grand & Associates is currently recruiting on behalf of a premier regulated financial institution (PSF) in Luxembourg. To support their global operational framework, we are seeking an experienced Accountant Supervisor (M/F/D).

Acting as the primary liaison between International Office Centers (IOC) operational teams (Transactions, Reconciliation, and Accounting) and Business Implementation teams, you will oversee outsourced fund accounting activities. You will play a pivotal role in handling operational escalations, unblocking production issues, validating NAVs, and performing periodic controls to ensure high-quality delivery in line with client expectations.

 

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor and validate NAVs generated by International Office Centers (IOC).

• Perform periodic oversight controls on outsourced processes, including Transactions, Reconciliation, and NAV Accounting.

• Oversee and monitor specific fund lifecycle events and adjustments.

• Act as the primary point of contact and escalation entry point for IOC operational teams to local Fund Accounting management.

• Provide active operational support to resolve blocking points and handle unexpected production issues, ensuring continuous Business As Usual (BAU) workflows.

• Coordinate and track Service Level Agreement (SLA) metrics and operational performance.

• Conduct Periodic Service Reviews with international operational teams.

• Collect and consolidate operational data and indicators for the Business Management Committee.

Candidate Profile

• Experience: Strong experience in Luxembourg Fund Accounting, NAV oversight, or delegate monitoring (PBM/Oversight).

• Technical Expertise: Deep understanding of operational and financial risks inherent to fund accounting processes.

• Languages: Professional fluency in English and French (multicultural and international setting).

• Soft Skills: Excellent communication, strong problem-solving ability, capacity to manage pressure and resolve complex operational blockages effectively.
