CS/Robotics Teacher

Job Description:

We are seeking an enthusiastic and knowledgeable CS/Robotics Teacher to join our educational team. The ideal candidate will inspire and ignite a passion for computer science and robotics among students, facilitating a hands-on learning environment that encourages innovation and critical thinking.

Responsibilities:

- Develop and deliver engaging lessons in computer science and robotics.
- Design, implement, and evaluate curricula that cater to diverse learning needs.
- Utilize up-to-date technologies and teaching methods to enhance classroom learning.
- Guide students in building projects and participating in robotics competitions.
- Assess and monitor students' progress, providing feedback and support to optimize learning outcomes.
- Foster a positive classroom environment that promotes curiosity and excitement about technology and robotics.
- Collaborate with colleagues and participate in professional development to stay current with industry trends.
- Encourage students to explore computer science and robotics as possible career paths.

Requirements:

- 1-2 years of experience teaching computer science or robotics, preferably in a secondary school setting.
- Proven ability to inspire and engage students in STEM subjects.
- Strong knowledge of programming languages and robotics systems.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage a dynamic and interactive classroom environment.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Education, or a related field.
- Teaching certification or eligibility for certification in relevant subject areas.
- Familiarity with educational technologies and learning management systems.
- Demonstrated commitment to professional growth and lifelong learning.
- Experience with robotics kits such as LEGO Mindstorms, VEX Robotics, or similar is a plus.
