Senior Accountant – Construction Project

We are seeking a Senior Accountant with construction industry experience to manage project accounting, financial reporting, budgeting and compliance.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare financial statements, management reports and MIS.
  
• Manage general ledger, project accounts, cost centres and work-in-progress (WIP) reporting.
  
• Monitor project costs, cash flow, retentions, bank guarantees and performance bonds.
  
• Handle accounts payable, receivable, reconciliations and payment tracking.
  
• Prepare budgets, forecasts and project financial analyses.
  
• Ensure VAT and IFRS compliance, maintain financial controls and coordinate audits.
  

Requirements

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance; ACCA/CMA preferred.
  
• 8 Years experience including 5 years Construction industry accounting experience is mandatory.
  
• Strong knowledge of project accounting, WIP, VAT and IFRS.
  
• Proficiency in QuickBooks and ERP accounting systems.
