🔎 About the Role

We are looking for a hands‑on Accounting and Finance Supervisor to lead the books, compliance, and financial reporting of our Philippine operations. You will ensure accounts are accurate and audit‑ready, meet every BIR, SEC, and statutory deadline, and provide management with clear, timely numbers for decision‑making.

This role combines full‑cycle accounting with oversight of the finance function and offers growth opportunities as the business expands.

📌 Key Responsibilities

Financial Reporting & Analysis

• Manage monthly and year‑end close; prepare financial statements (BS, IS, CF).

• Deliver management reports with variance/trend analysis and recommendations.

Tax & Regulatory Compliance

• Prepare and file BIR returns (VAT, withholding, income tax) with alphalists/certificates.

• Ensure compliance with BIR invoicing rules, SEC filings (AFS, GIS), and LGU permits.

Payroll & Statutory Contributions

• Review payroll accuracy; ensure timely remittance of SSS, PhilHealth, Pag‑IBIG.

• Oversee 13th‑month pay, final pay, and DOLE‑compliant computations.

Budgeting, Forecasting & Cash Management

• Lead annual budget preparation and monitor performance vs. targets.

• Manage cash flow forecasting, liquidity, and bank relationships.

Financial Operations & Internal Controls

• Supervise AP/AR, reconciliations, GL, petty cash, and fixed assets.

• Establish internal controls, approval limits, and SOPs.

Audit & Management Reporting

• Coordinate annual external audits and respond to BIR inquiries.

• Prepare reports for management, including intercompany reconciliations.

Team, Vendors & Systems

• Supervise and develop accounting staff.

• Manage vendor accreditation and payment terms.

• Recommend improvements to accounting systems and reporting tools.

🎓 Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy, Finance, or related field.

• CPA preferred; non‑CPA candidates with strong senior accounting experience welcome.

• 5+ years of progressive accounting experience, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.

• Strong knowledge of Philippine taxation, compliance, and statutory contributions.

• Experience working with external auditors.

• Proficiency in accounting systems (QuickBooks, Xero, SAP, NetSuite) and advanced MS Excel.

• Active CPA license.

• Experience in foreign‑owned companies or subsidiaries.

• Exposure to transfer pricing or BIR audits.

• Background in technology, SaaS, or FMCG industries.
