Learning And Development Manager

Responsibilities

1.Develop and implement training plans to support

business and employee development needs.

2.Identify training needs and skill gaps across

different departments.

3.Plan and organize training programmes for

shore-based and seafaring employees.

4.Coordinate internal and external training

sessions to improve employee skills and knowledge.

5.Ensure training programmes meet maritime

industry regulations and standards.

6.Work closely with department heads to support

employee development and career progression.

7.Monitor and evaluate training effectiveness and

recommend improvements.

8.Liaise with external training providers and

maritime training institutions.

9.Manage training budgets, schedules, and records

to ensure smooth training operations.

10.Introduce

new learning methods and digital training tools to improve training efficiency.

Requirements

1.Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business

Administration, Maritime Studies, or related fields.

2.Minimum 5 years of experience in Learning &

Development or Training Management, with relevant experience in the maritime or

shipping industry.

3.Good knowledge of maritime training

requirements, industry regulations, and training standards.

4.Experience in training needs analysis, programme

development, and learning management systems (LMS).

5.Strong communication, interpersonal,

organizational, and stakeholder management skills.
