Responsibilities

• Analyze and verify eyeglass and contact lens prescriptions to ensure accuracy before fabrication.
  
• Assist customers in selecting appropriate frames and lenses based on their prescription, facial structure, and personal style preferences.
  
• Operate advanced optical equipment to measure pupillary distance, segment height, and other critical parameters for lens manufacturing.
  
• Perform adjustments and repairs on eyewear to ensure a comfortable and secure fit for the wearer.
  
• Educate patients on proper lens care, maintenance, and the benefits of various optical technologies.
  
• Collaborate with optometrists and ophthalmologists to support comprehensive eye examination processes.
  
• Maintain accurate inventory levels of frames, lenses, and optical supplies while managing order fulfillment.
  
• Adhere to all safety protocols and regulatory standards specific to the Health Care industry.
  

Requirements

Requirements:

• Proven experience as an Optician or in a related optical role within the Health Care sector.
  
• Valid certification or licensure as an Optician, as required by state or regional regulations.
  
• Strong understanding of optical principles, lens materials, coatings, and frame construction.
  
• Proficiency with optical dispensing software and diagnostic equipment.
  
• Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly to patients.
