This is a varied role within an experienced and approachable finance team, reporting to a supportive Credit Manager who encourages ownership, development and progression.

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Working to agreed deadlines, targets and service levels
  • Supporting the wider finance team during busy periods, including month end

This is an opportunity to take genuine ownership of your ledger while working closely with an experienced team and supportive Credit Manager.

What We’re Looking For:

To be successful in this role, you should have:

  • Previous experience working in an end-to-end Credit Control role
  • Experience managing your own ledger or portfolio of customer accounts
  • Experience dealing with high-value and/or high-volume accounts
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills
  • Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
  • The ability to prioritise effectively and manage your own workload
  • Good Excel and Microsoft Office skills
  • Experience working to deadlines, targets and service levels
  • A proactive and solution-focused approach
  • The confidence to deal professionally with challenging queries and payment issues

You’ll be joining a business that genuinely values its people, with a strong focus on recognition, development, wellbeing and creating a flexible and supportive working environment.

You’ll Benefit From:

  • A salary of up to £33,000, depending on experience
  • 35-hour working week
  • 26 days’ holiday plus bank holidays, with the option to buy and sell additional days
  • Hybrid working – initially 4 days in the office for approximately 3 months during training, moving to 3 days in the office and 2 days from home
  • Private medical care, dental insurance and life assurance at 4 times your salary
  • Matched pension contributions of up to 5%, increasing to 6% after 5 years’ service
  • Potential bonus based on company and individual performance
  • Free breakfast every day and fresh fruit
  • Regular social events, incentives and recognition awards
  • Gym membership and Cycle to Work schemes
  • Counselling support for you and your immediate family
  • Opportunities for secondments, development and career progression
  • A flexible and supportive working culture
  • A modern, open-plan office environment in Leeds City Centre

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Credit Controller to join a growing and people-focused business where you’ll have the opportunity to develop your skills, take ownership of your portfolio and build a long-term career.

If you’re looking for a Credit Control role offering flexibility, progression and a genuinely strong benefits package, we’d love to hear from you.
