Sales Executive - Automotive Industry

Our client is a leading global manufacturer of materials and specialty solutions, serving leading apparel brands, manufacturers and customers across a range of industries. As part of their continued expansion, they are seeking a Technical Sales Executive to develop customer relationships, identify new business opportunities and support sales growth across the Vietnam market.

Sales Executive - Automotive Industry

Based in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam (hybrid work set up)

ORGANIZATION: You will be responsible for developing business within an assigned customer base, identifying new opportunities and working closely with customers and internal technical teams to provide the right product and application solutions. The role combines customer relationship management, technical understanding and business development, with responsibility for taking opportunities from initial customer engagement through quotation and order completion.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Develop and maintain relationships with existing customers.
  
• Identify and develop new business opportunities through customer conversion, product upgrades and new products.
  
• Achieve agreed sales and collection targets.
  
• Understand customer requirements and coordinate with technical/operations teams to provide appropriate solutions.
  
• Prepare quotations and follow opportunities through to order completion.
  
• Work with customers across different functions to identify opportunities and resolve issues.
  
• Support implementation of product specifications and new business opportunities.
  
• Maintain accurate sales forecasts and provide regular updates to management.
  

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in any discipline, preferably in Business or a related field.
  
• 1-2 years of B2B sales experience, preferably within an automotive or textile manufacturing environment.
  
• Experience selling to Automotive industry is preferred, particularly experience with automotive components, materials or technical product.
  
• Candidates from Customer Service or Technical Customer Support backgrounds with an interest in moving into sales are also encouraged.
  
• Strong customer relationship and communication skills.
  
• Good English communication skills.
  
• Comfortable presenting and engaging with customers.
  
• Commercially minded, proactive and willing to learn.
  
• Technical understanding of products/materials is an advantage.
  
• Chinese language skills would be an advantage to speak with a group of customers with same language skills.
