Our client is a leading manufacturing company who is looking for a qualified candidate to join their firm.

JOB DESCRIPTION

• Create and implement best practice of engineering and manufacturing vision, strategy, policies, processes, and procedures to aid and improve business performance.
  
• Ensure manufacturing strategies and processes are in place to meet business objectives and operational needs.
  
• Initiate and develop creative and innovative engineering and manufacturing processes, considering factors such as customer demand, resource availability, and production capacity.
  
• Take ownership of the engineering and manufacturing policy, guidelines, and any associated documents.
  
• Lead, develop and implement variable cost productivity programs across all areas of responsibility.
  
• Develop and manage material plan, production plan and schedule, inventory level, and accuracy within operation budgets to ensure that the product is delivered to agreed cost, quality, and timelines.
  
• Plan and execute maintenance plan and activity to ensure plant is kept safe and compliant, create a safe work environment, ensure that all safety procedures are available and followed, conduct regular safety inspections, identify and address any potential hazards. Provide orientation and training to employees on safety practices, emergency procedures, and other procedures.
  
• Lead a culture of safety ownership.
  
• Ensure running production activities in compliance with local and governmental requirements.
  
• Manage the accurate and timely introduction of new products.
  
• Establish strategy and best practices for staffs, provide guidance and training to ensure that staffs have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their roles effectively to ensure achievement of overall business objectives. Work with the Manufacturing team to translate site strategy into specific annual performance goals and departmental objectives including KPIs, and to track them.
  
• Ensure strong communication between teams under leadership and with other departments to facilitate exchange of information and in order to implement change and improvements.
  
• Provide leadership, coordination, and coaching to the team, ensuring they are trained enabling them to and achieve the operational and financial metrics within their areas of responsibility and succeed in their roles.
  
• Input and hold responsibility for manufacturing budgets.
  
• Expenditure proposals as well as ensuring compliance with legal standards. Manage the budget from identification to completion of projects.
  
• Perform other tasks as directed by the owners.
  
  

Requirements

• At least 5 years in similar position.
  
• At least 05 years of experience with CNC programming and CAD/CAM software is required.
  
• Good project management skills are a must.
  
• At least 10 years of experience in the same or similar industries.
  
• Proactive, analytical, meticulous, and reliable.
  
• Proficient in English.
  
• Excellent organizational and leadership skills.
  
• Good problem-solving skills.
  
• Good interpersonal skills and communication skills.
  
• Ability to create and track individual metrics.
  
• Strong team player capable to collaborate across departments to quickly meet company objectives.
