Metal Finisher

We are seeking detail-oriented full-time Metal Finishers to join our production team. This role is responsible for restoring parts to precise geometric specifications through specialized fabrication and blending techniques. Successful candidates will demonstrate excellent manual dexterity and a high level of hand-eye coordination to ensure consistent, high-quality surface finishes.

Base wage: $22.50 / hour
Location: 400 Highway 6 N, Dundas, ON L9H 7K4

We have the following openings:

• Day Shift (1 opening) (Monday to Friday 7:00am – 3:30pm)
  
• 2nd Shift (2 openings) (Monday to Friday 3:30pm – 12:00am) + $1 shift premium
  
• 3rd Shift (multiple openings) (Sunday to Friday 11:00pm-7:00am) + $1.50 shift premium
  

Typical Duties Include (but are not limited to):

• Restore parts to their original geometric specifications using various fabrication and finishing techniques
  
• Perform blending operations to ensure a consistent surface finish according to outlined specifications
  

Key Skill Requirements:

• Excellent hand eye coordination
  
• Willingness and ability to work as part of a team
  
• Strong attention to detail
  
• Excellent fine manual dexterity is required
  

Key Experience/Education:

• Minimum Secondary School education
  
• Experience working with small hand tools is required
  
• Experience grinding and prepping parts is an asset
  
• Experience with air powered tools is an asset
  
• Experience with metal finishing is an asset
  
• Experience with inspection tools (for example: Vernier calipers, height gauges, dial indicators) is an asset
