JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Licenses: Active Virginia license
  
• DEA: DEA registration required
  
• Experience: Completion of an approved family practice residency
  

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Performs physical examinations and orders diagnostic tests
  
• Interprets examination findings and test results, and implements treatment plans
  
• Provides comprehensive, continuing health maintenance and medical care to the entire family unit
  
• Participates in surgical, obstetrical, gynecological, and critical care procedures according to training
  
• Instructs other healthcare providers and non-medical personnel on health-related topics
