Black & Grey HR is recruiting for a well-established private investment group in Abu Dhabi, UAE, to hire an experienced Executive Technology Services Specialist. The successful candidate will provide dedicated, discreet, and proactive technology support to senior executives, ensuring their devices, applications, connectivity, meetings, and collaboration tools remain secure, reliable, and ready for use.
This is a high-trust role requiring strong technical expertise, independent troubleshooting, exceptional ownership, and absolute confidentiality. The position goes beyond conventional desktop support, with a focus on executive technology readiness, endpoint security, and seamless workplace technology services.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Executive Technology Support
- Act as the primary technology point of contact for designated executive offices and senior leadership.
- Take end-to-end ownership of executive technology issues, ensuring timely resolution with minimal disruption.
- Configure, maintain, and troubleshoot laptops, tablets, smartphones, peripherals, and workplace technology.
- Support Windows, macOS, iOS/iPadOS, and Android environments.
- Provide technical assistance for Microsoft 365 applications, including Outlook, Teams, OneDrive, and SharePoint.
2. Endpoint Management & Security
- Support Microsoft Intune, Entra ID, MFA, device enrolment, compliance, and secure access.
- Maintain executive device readiness through updates, encryption, backups, migration, replacement, and recovery.
- Apply security controls, least-privilege access, confidentiality, and data protection requirements.
- Immediately escalate security incidents, device loss, or suspected information exposure.
- Maintain accurate, concise, and restricted documentation of executive devices, configurations, and support arrangements.
3. Executive Meetings & Collaboration Technology
- Prepare and validate technology for executive meetings, presentations, video conferences, and important external engagements.
- Conduct proactive readiness checks covering devices, connectivity, user access, audio/video, and presentation technology.
- Troubleshoot Microsoft Teams, video conferencing, and meeting-room technology.
- Anticipate and resolve potential technical issues before they affect executive meetings or business-critical engagements.
4. Technical Troubleshooting & Service Coordination
- Independently diagnose and resolve complex device, application, connectivity, Wi-Fi, VPN, and network-related issues.
- Coordinate with infrastructure, cybersecurity, network, application, and external support teams while retaining ownership until resolution.
- Identify recurring issues, perform root-cause analysis, and implement permanent corrective actions.
- Coordinate vendors and specialist teams when required, ensuring service quality and timely resolution.
5. Digital Workplace & Continuous Improvement
- Identify opportunities to improve executive productivity through approved AI assistants, automation, and emerging workplace technologies.
- Support the adoption and effective use of approved collaboration and productivity tools.
- Provide technology support outside normal working hours and at other approved locations when required.
- Remain available on-call and on standby for urgent or business-critical executive technology requirements, including weekends and public holidays when required.
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in executive technology support, advanced end user computing, endpoint engineering, or digital workplace services.
- Proven experience supporting senior executives or other high-priority users.
- Native Arabic speaker with fluency in English.
- Strong hands-on expertise in Windows, macOS, iOS/iPadOS, Android, and Microsoft 365.
- Practical experience with Microsoft Intune, Entra ID, MFA, endpoint management, device compliance, and endpoint security.
- Strong experience with Microsoft Teams, video conferencing, and meeting-room technology.
- Good understanding of Wi-Fi, VPN, connectivity, and general network troubleshooting.
- Ability to diagnose complex technical issues independently and coordinate specialist teams or vendors when necessary.
- Strong understanding of information security, confidentiality, privileged access, and data protection.
- Relevant Microsoft, endpoint, security, or IT service management certifications are an advantage.
- Willingness to work flexible hours and provide on-call support when required.
