Study Abroad Consultant

Overview:

This role assists students and partners in exploring study abroad opportunities by offering personalized guidance and resources. The Study Abroad Counselor engages with prospective students and current mentees to ensure they receive the necessary information and support for their educational journeys abroad.

• Assist prospective B2B and B2C customers in selecting study abroad options tailored to their individual profiles and needs.
  
• Address customer questions regarding Kobi Education's study abroad offerings and services.
  
• Answer inquiries from customers related to Kobi Educations's products.
  
• Guide students in developing effective scholarship application strategies to enhance their success rates.
  
• Work closely with the sales team and study abroad division to gather insights on customer needs and improve service delivery.
  
• Monitor and analyze trends in the study abroad sector to provide informed advice to clients.
  
• Conduct coaching sessions for current study abroad mentees, helping them navigate challenges during their scholarship preparation.
  
• Lead onboarding sessions for new participants in the study abroad program, ensuring they are familiar with the process and resources available.
  
  

Requirements

• Bachelor's or master's graduate from overseas university, any major.
  
• Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in counseling or advising students on educational opportunities, student advising, counseling, or study abroad coordination particularly in an international context.
  
• Familiarity with scholarship programs and funding options for study abroad.
  
• Understanding of academic programs, admissions processes, and visa requirements for studying abroad.
  
• Strong communication skills to convey information and support effectively to diverse customers.
  
• Strong interpersonal skills for establishing connections with students and partners from different backgrounds.
  
• Passion for education and a commitment to helping others achieve their study abroad goals.
  
• Strong empathy and active listening skills to address student concerns and needs.
  
• Preferable domicile: Jabodetabek.
  
• Available to work in Hybrid (Jakarta)
