English PGT

Udaya Public School, Ayodhya, is seeking a qualified and experienced PGT English Teacher to join our academic team. The candidate will be responsible for teaching English at the senior secondary level, planning engaging lessons, assessing student performance, and supporting students in developing strong language, communication, and analytical skills.

Requirements

Master's Degree in English from a recognised university.

B.Ed. or equivalent teaching qualification.

Strong command of English language and literature.

Relevant teaching experience at the senior secondary level will be preferred.

Teach English to Classes XI and XII as per the prescribed curriculum.

Prepare lesson plans, teaching materials, assignments, and assessments.

Deliver engaging and interactive classroom sessions.

Develop students' reading, writing, speaking, and critical-thinking skills.

Conduct tests, evaluate answer scripts, and maintain student performance records.

Provide academic guidance and support to students.

Prepare students effectively for board examinations.

Maintain classroom discipline and follow school policies and procedures.

Participate in parent-teacher meetings, staff meetings, examinations, and school events.

Collaborate with HODs and other teachers for academic planning and improvement.

Maintain required academic and administrative records.
