ABOUT THE ROLE

We are looking for a Senior Manager – Operations & Digital Transformation who can manage a team while driving operational efficiency, process improvement, and automation.

The role will oversee key operations including client onboarding, transaction processing, AMC coordination, reporting, and query resolution. The ideal candidate will combine people-management skills with strong process thinking, attention to detail, risk awareness, and an automation mindset.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Operations & Team Management
   
   • Manage, mentor, and develop the operations team.
   
   • Set goals, review performance, and build team capability.
   
   • Own overall operational performance across platforms such as MFU and Investwell.
   
   • Oversee transaction processing, reporting, query resolution, and SLA adherence.
   
   • Personally handle escalations, high-risk transactions, and documentation requiring accuracy.
   
2. Process & Automation
   
   • Identify manual, repetitive, and error-prone workflows.
   
   • Improve and automate processes across onboarding, execution, reporting, and reconciliation.
   
   • Drive adoption of Excel, Zoho, Investwell, AI-assisted workflows, and other digital tools.
   
   • Develop SOPs that reduce manual dependency and improve scalability.
   
3. Vendor & Stakeholder Management
   
   • Manage relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
   
   • Coordinate with AMCs and resolve operational escalations.
   
   • Manage service expectations and ensure timely resolution of queries.
   
   • Support the evaluation and analysis of Mutual Funds, PMS, and other products.
   
   • Ensure transactions and onboarding processes comply with applicable SEBI requirements.
   
4. Reporting & Business Insights
   
   • Build and maintain reporting infrastructure and dashboards.
   
   • Manage monthly database updates, factsheets, and company reports.
   
   • Analyse operational data and provide insights to support leadership decision-making.

EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATION

• B.Tech / B.E. / B.Sc. in Computer Science or related field, with an MBA.
• NISM Mutual Funds Distributor certification is not mandatory; willingness to obtain it after joining is a plus.

EXPERIENCE

• 2–5 years of experience in technology/automation consulting, business transformation, or general management.
• Direct people-management experience is required.
• Prior experience in BFSI, Investment Advisory, or Asset Management is an advantage.
• Experience in redesigning, automating, or scaling processes will be a strong differentiator.
