Senior Garment Merchandiser

We are looking for an experienced SGM who can independently manage the complete garment order lifecycle, from yarn procurement to final packing and dispatch. The ideal candidate should have strong garment costing skills, excellent coordination abilities, and established contacts with local vendors and suppliers in and around Tiruppur. The candidate must be capable of coordinating with suppliers, production teams, and other stakeholders to ensure timely execution of orders, cost efficiency, and quality standards.

  End-to-End Order Management: Manage the complete garment manufacturing process, from yarn sourcing and procurement to fabric production, processing, stitching, finishing, packing, and dispatch.
  
• ✓Costing & Pricing: Prepare accurate garment cost sheets, including yarn, fabric, processing, accessories, stitching, finishing, packing, and other related costs.
  
• ✓Vendor Management: Identify, coordinate, and negotiate with yarn suppliers, fabric mills, dyeing and processing units, printing and embroidery units, accessory suppliers, and other garment-related vendors.
  
• ✓Local Vendor Network: Utilize established contacts in Tiruppur and surrounding areas to source reliable vendors and ensure competitive pricing and timely delivery.
  
• ✓Order Follow-Up: Monitor order progress at every stage and ensure production and delivery schedules are met.
  
• ✓Material Planning: Coordinate material requirements, procurement schedules, and availability of raw materials to avoid production delays.
  
• ✓Production Coordination: Work closely with production, quality, purchase, and finishing teams to ensure smooth execution of orders.
  
• ✓Quality & Compliance: Ensure that products meet customer specifications, quality requirements, and packing standards.
  
• ✓Documentation: Maintain costing sheets, purchase details, order status reports, material records, and other relevant merchandising documentation.
  
• ✓Problem-Solving: Proactively resolve vendor, material, costing, and production-related issues to ensure timely order completion
