Senior Manager/Tendering Lead - Business Development

Tender Responsibilities & Duties

• Prepare and submit tender documents in accordance with client specifications.
  
• The candidate should possess strong interpersonal skills for effective team management and have a solid connection to a related industry.
  
• Collaboration with team and management skills are required
  
• Analyze tender requirements and timelines to ensure compliance.
  
• Collaborate with internal teams to gather necessary project information.
  
• Conduct market research to understand competitor offerings and pricing.
  
• Develop and maintain a database of past tender submissions and outcomes.
  
• Prepare pricing models and financial analysis for proposals.
  
• Participate in pre-tender meetings and site visits.
  
• Review and edit submissions to ensure clarity, accuracy, and professionalism.
  
• Facilitate communication between technical and commercial teams during the tendering process.
  
• Track tender opportunities and manage the submission calendar.
  

Requirements

Tender Qualifications & Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.
  
• The candidate should have a minimum of 15-20 years of experience in the relevant industry.
  
• Experience in proposal writing or bid management in a EPCs and infrastructure industry.
  
• Proficiency in project management software and tools.
  
• Strong analytical skills with attention to detail.
  
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  
• Ability to work independently and within a team environment.
  
• Familiarity with contract law and procurement processes.
  
• Proven experience in tendering or bid management.
  
• Strong understanding of industry standards and regulations.
  
• Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines under pressure.
  
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and relevant software tools.
  
• Strong organizational and multitasking capabilities.
