BIM Manager

My client a leading Real Estate Developer requires a BIM Manager - Buildings to lead the implementation, governance, and delivery of Building Information Modelling (BIM) across a portfolio of major residential, hospitality, mixed-use, commercial, healthcare, and community developments. UAE experiene is mandatory. Acting as the client-side BIM lead, this role will oversee consultant and contractor compliance, manage digital project delivery, and ensure BIM processes support project objectives throughout design, construction, handover, and asset management stages. Key Responsibilities BIM Governance & Standards * Lead the implementation of BIM standards, procedures, and digital delivery requirements across building projects. * Ensure compliance with company standards, Abu Dhabi Municipality requirements, and ISO 19650. * Review and manage BIM Execution Plans (BEPs), Employer Information Requirements (EIRs), and Asset Information Requirements (AIRs). * Drive continuous improvement of BIM standards and workflows. Design & Construction BIM Management * Oversee BIM delivery from concept design through construction and handover. * Monitor consultant and contractor BIM deliverables for compliance and quality. * Manage multidisciplinary coordination across architecture, structure, MEP, interiors, façade, and specialist systems. * Support project planning, cost management, constructability reviews, and operational readiness through BIM. Model Coordination & Quality Assurance * Lead model audits, clash detection reviews, and BIM quality assessments. * Facilitate coordination workshops and resolve design and construction issues. * Review BIM deliverables at key project milestones and ensure adherence to project requirements. Digital Delivery & Innovation * Manage Common Data Environments (CDE) using Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC) or similar platforms. * Support integration of BIM data into facilities and asset management systems. * Drive the adoption of digital tools, automation, and BIM analytics through Power BI, Dynamo, and related technologies. * Evaluate emerging technologies that enhance project efficiency and collaboration. Stakeholder Management * Act as the primary BIM focal point for project teams, consultants, contractors, and internal stakeholders. * Provide technical leadership, BIM reviews, workshops, and training. * Support procurement teams in defining BIM requirements for consultant and contractor appointments. Qualifications * Bachelor's Degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management, or a related discipline. * BIM-related certifications and Autodesk professional accreditation are advantageous. Experience * Minimum 12 years of BIM experience, including at least 5 years in a BIM Manager or BIM leadership role in the UAE essential. * Proven experience managing BIM delivery on large-scale building developments. * Experience within a developer, PMC, consultancy, or contractor environment. * Strong background across residential, hospitality, mixed-use, commercial, healthcare, or high-rise projects. Technical Skills * Advanced proficiency in Revit, Navisworks, Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC), and AutoCAD. * Strong understanding of BIM coordination across architecture, structure, and MEP disciplines. * Experience with Solibri, BIM validation tools, Power BI, Dynamo, and digital automation workflows. * Knowledge of 4D/5D BIM processes and Common Data Environment management. * Thorough understanding of ISO 19650 and BIM delivery standards.
