Hybrid Administrative Assistant, Healthcare Practice

SerKy Consulting is hiring a part-time Administrative Assistant for a private therapy practice. The role is remote, and it can become a long-term position with the practice.

Details

• 10–15 hours per week, weekdays during business hours
  
• $16–$17 per hour, based on experience
  
• Remote, with preference for candidates in the Fort Lauderdale / South Florida area who can occasionally support in person. Also open to remote candidates in Georgia or Texas.
  
• Temp-to-hire through SerKy Consulting, starting mid-November
  

What you’ll do

• Answer calls and respond to client texts promptly and professionally
  
• Schedule consultations and appointments, and keep calendars in sync
  
• Complete client intake accurately
  
• Follow up on cancellations and no-shows, and reschedule appointments
  
• Protect client privacy in every call, message, and record
  

Requirements

What you’ll need

• 1+ year in a front desk, scheduling, or administrative role. Medical or mental health experience is a strong plus
  
• A warm, calm, professional phone presence
  
• Comfort with Google Workspace and willingness to learn new scheduling systems
  
• A private, quiet workspace and reliable internet
  
• Willingness to complete HIPAA training, sign a confidentiality agreement, and pass a background check
