Azure DevOps Infrastructure-as-Code Engineer

Help shape reliable, scalable and secure cloud infrastructure for Advanzia’s digital banking environment. In this role, you will design and maintain automated infrastructure solutions in Microsoft Azure, working closely with development and operations teams to improve how cloud services are deployed, managed and monitored.

About the job | Your responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain automated CI/CD pipelines and Infrastructure-as-Code using Azure DevOps, Terraform and Ansible
• Deploy, manage and secure scalable cloud workloads and containerised environments in Microsoft Azure
• Support multi-region deployments to ensure high availability and resilience
• Automate IT infrastructure processes across servers, virtualisation, storage, network, security and backup platforms
• Monitor and optimise cloud infrastructure for availability, performance, capacity and security
• Contribute to IT service management activities, including incident, change, release and business continuity management
• Diagnose and resolve IT incidents, documenting root causes and solutions
• Maintain accurate records of configuration changes and coordinate application updates and upgrades
• Document processes and monitor IT performance metrics for continuous improvement
• Work with application support, development and testing teams, as well as other stakeholders, to enhance application functionality and performance
• Provide technical support and guidance to stakeholders across the bank
• Take ownership of assigned applications and infrastructure components

About you | Your background, skills and personality

• A degree in IT or equivalent professional experience
• At least four years’ experience in a DevOps or DevSecOps role 
• Fluency in English is essential

Must-have skills and technologies

• Cloud infrastructure: proven experience provisioning and orchestrating cloud and digital infrastructure across Azure, AWS and GCP
• Infrastructure-as-Code: advanced skills in Terraform
• Microsoft Azure cloud: virtual machines, microservices, networking, security
• Azure DevOps: repositories, pipelines, boards
• High availability & data protection: practical understanding of high-availability environments and data protection technologies
• Automation & scripting: Ansible, PowerShell
• Monitoring & visualisation: PRTG, Grafana 
• Development tools: Visual Studio Code
• Microsoft Enterprise environnements : Active Directory, DNS, VDI, Intune, VMWare, etc.
• Networking & security: network and firewall components
• IT Service Management: solid experience with the ITIL Framework

Nice-to-have skills & technologies

• Data analytics platforms: MS Purview, Databricks, Power BI
• Security & compliance tools: SonarQube, Checkmarx, Okta
