Investment Restrictions Consultant

Location: Onsite Luxembourg

Employment type: 6 month initial consulting mission 

We are hiring for an experienced investment restrictions consultant to support a renowned client of ours. You will be responsible for ensuring that funds remain compliant with applicable regulatory requirements and governing documents.

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor investment restrictions applicable to Real Estate and Private Equity funds.
• Establish and maintain controls based on regulatory requirements and fund documentation, including prospectuses and other governing documents.
• Perform investment ratio and portfolio compliance checks.
• Identify and investigate potential breaches or exceedances of investment restrictions.
• Communicate breaches to relevant internal stakeholders and follow up on their resolution.
• Prepare and maintain accurate compliance reports and supporting documentation.
• Work closely with investment, fund accounting and operational teams to resolve issues and ensure ongoing compliance.
• Contribute to improving and strengthening investment restriction monitoring processes.

Key Skills Required:

• Proven experience in investment restrictions or portfolio compliance.
• Good knowledge of investment restrictions applicable to investment funds.
• Experience with Real Estate and Private Equity funds.
• Good understanding of fund accounting principles.
• VBA knowledge is an advantage.
• Fluency in English.
