Maritime Learning And Development Manager

• Develop and implement training plans to support business and employee development needs.
  
• Identify training needs and skill gaps across different departments.
  
• Plan and organize training programmes for shore-based and seafaring employees.
  
• Coordinate internal and external training sessions to improve employee skills and knowledge.
  
• Ensure training programmes meet maritime industry regulations and standards.
  
• Work closely with department heads to support employee development and career progression.
  
• Monitor and evaluate training effectiveness and recommend improvements.
  
• Liaise with external training providers and maritime training institutions.
  
• Manage training budgets, schedules, and records to ensure smooth training operations.
  
• Introduce new learning methods and digital training tools to improve training efficiency.
  
  

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Maritime Studies, or related fields.
  
• Minimum 5 years of experience as a Learning and Development Manager with relevant experience in the maritime industry.
  
• Good knowledge of maritime training requirements, industry regulations, and training standards.
  
• Experience in training needs analysis, programme development, and learning management systems.
  
• Strong communication, interpersonal, organizational, and stakeholder management skills.
