Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to oversee commercial electrical construction projects ranging from small service jobs to large-scale projects valued at $3 million–$20 million. The ideal candidate will have strong project management, financial oversight, team leadership, and client relationship skills, with a focus on project profitability, quality, and timely completion.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage commercial electrical construction projects, ensuring budgets, schedules, materials, subcontractors, and crews remain on track.
• Oversee project costs, expenses, billing requirements, and financial performance.
• Review project progress and maintain quality standards across all assigned projects.
• Manage change orders, scope changes, and associated payment requirements.
• Monitor contract compliance and minimize project risks and liabilities.
• Resolve project challenges, operational issues, and startup concerns.
• Coordinate with billing teams, project engineers, and other internal departments.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships while identifying opportunities for additional business.
• Mentor junior project managers and support team development.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and confidentiality requirements.

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of construction project management experience, preferably in commercial electrical construction.
• Experience managing projects valued at $3 million–$20 million.
• Strong understanding of construction budgets, scheduling, cost control, contracts, and change orders.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Experience with Accubid, Bluebeam, and Spectrum preferred.
• Familiarity with project management software, methodologies, and best practices.
• Strong leadership, communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities independently and meet deadlines.

Preferred Qualifications

• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
• Relevant continuing education or professional development.
• Experience mentoring junior project managers and coordinating with project engineers.
• Strong client relationship management and business development capabilities.

Work Environment

The position involves office-based work, occasional outdoor job-site visits, travel between project locations, and attendance at client or project meetings. Candidates should be comfortable working in varying environmental conditions and managing competing priorities under pressure.
