Interventional Pain Physician (100% Procedure-Based) Job Type: Full-Time or Part-Time Location: Greater Phoenix Metro & Northern Arizona (Single-clinic assignment; no multi-facility rotation) Compensation: $450,000 – $550,000 / year (Full-Time) | Prorated for Part-Time Schedule: Monday – Friday, Daytime Hours | No Nights | No On-Call | No Weekends Opportunity Overview A premier, high-volume private interventional pain management practice in Arizona is seeking a fellowship-trained, board-certified or board-eligible Interventional Pain Physician for a pure, procedure-only position. This opportunity is structured specifically for proceduralists seeking maximum efficiency, lifestyle balance, and private practice autonomy without administrative clinic overhead. The practice utilizes two dedicated procedure suites per facility equipped with modern fluoroscopic and ultrasound guidance systems. Position Highlights 100% Procedure-Based: Purely interventional schedule—zero routine clinic consults, zero office visits, and zero high-dose opioid medication management. Exceptional Work-Life Balance: Outpatient daytime schedule with no night shifts, no hospital/clinic call, and no weekends. High-Volume Efficiency: Focus on core bread-and-butter interventions running across two procedure suites (comfortable managing 30+ procedures per day). Location Stability: Dedicated placement at a single primary outpatient center based on candidate preference and fit. Non-Opioid Focus: Strong clinical commitment to targeting pain at its source through advanced interventional therapies. Key Responsibilities Perform fluoroscopic- and ultrasound-guided interventional procedures, including: Epidural steroid injections (cervical, thoracic, lumbar) Medial branch blocks (MBB) and radiofrequency ablation (RFA) Joint and sacroiliac (SI) joint injections Peripheral nerve blocks and diagnostic injections Spinal cord stimulator (SCS) trials Kyphoplasty / Vertebroplasty Direct patient flow across dual procedure suites supported by dedicated radiologic technicians, medical assistants, and nursing staff. Maintain accurate, timely procedural charting and documentation. Ensure adherence to standard clinical guidelines and quality care protocols. Candidate Qualifications Education: MD or DO from an accredited medical school. Board Certification: Board Certified or Board Eligible in Pain Medicine, Anesthesiology, Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation (PM&R), or a related discipline. Licensure: Active, unrestricted Arizona medical license, or eligible to obtain licensure (IMLC-eligible candidates welcomed). Fellowship: ACGME-accredited fellowship training in Interventional Pain Management preferred. Volume Comfort: Proven capability and comfort managing high-volume procedural schedules (30+ procedures/day).
