Intermediate Full Stack Developer (JavaScript / TypeScript)

We are looking for a JavaScript developer with strong JavaScript, React and AWS experience to join a high-performing consulting environment and deliver production-grade solutions across industries. You will work in cross-functional, client-facing teams, building modern front ends and the services behind them, and taking ownership from design through to production.

This suits an engineer who writes clean, scalable code, is comfortable in React, and has already shipped work on AWS.

Key responsibilities

• Design and deliver modern React applications and the JavaScript services that support them
  
• Build and integrate RESTful APIs and third-party platforms
  
• Deploy, run and support solutions on AWS
  
• Take ownership of technical solutions from design through to production
  
• Work in cross-functional squads, including direct client engagement
  
• Apply clean code, testability and maintainability
  
• Contribute to architectural decisions and team engineering practices
  
• Deliver in Agile and keep improving how the team ships
  

Requirements

Skills and experience:

• Proven experience delivering production software in JavaScript and/or TypeScript
  
• Strong React experience, including components, state and front-end architecture
  
• Hands-on AWS experience, such as EC2, S3, Lambda, API Gateway, RDS or IAM
  
• Solid API design, including REST, with GraphQL an advantage
  
• Asynchronous and event-driven programming
  
• Git, CI/CD and modern engineering practices
  
• Automated testing across unit, integration and end-to-end
  
• React Native or other mobile experience is an advantage
  
• Microservices or BFF patterns, and Azure as a second cloud, are an advantage.
