  • Capture, log and file information from field reports, patrol data and other sources.
  • Maintain organised, cross-referenced intelligence files and databases.
  • Produce draft situation reports, incident summaries and basic analytical products.
  • Track patterns in poaching, wildlife trafficking, illegal fishing and unauthorised entry.
  • Support briefings for internal teams and external partners where directed.
  • Assist investigations by compiling background information, timelines and link charts.
  • Build relationships with rangers, community scouts and Park staff.
  • Follow all Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Standard Security Operating Procedures (SSOPs).
  • Handle all information with discretion and maintain confidentiality.c


Requirements

  • Zimbabwean School Certificate of Education (ZSCE) as a minimum.
  • University degree or diploma in criminology, security studies, intelligence studies, geography/GIS, data analysis, wildlife management, environmental science or a related field.
  • Strong written and spoken English.
  • Proficiency in Shona.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Willingness to live and work in a remote bush environment in the Lower Zambezi Valley.
  • Honesty, discretion and strong personal integrity.
  • Knowledge of Chikunda, Nyanja or another local language spoken in the Zambezi Valley.
  • Familiarity with GIS tools such as QGIS and Google Earth, EarthRanger or similar conservation platforms.
  • Previous exposure to law enforcement, security or conservation through internships or fieldwork.
  • Valid Class 4 driver’s licence.
