About the Role

This position supports the accurate and timely maintenance oflegal digital contentwithin Lexis+ and other legal information platforms. The role focuses on updating, reviewing, editing, and organizing legislative content to ensure that legal information available to users isaccurate, complete, and up to date.

You will work as part of a team ofContent Editors, Hybrid Editors, and Legal Analysts, supporting legal digital products and ensuring the quality and integrity of legislative information.

The role covers three main content types:

• Statutory Codes (Statcode)
• Court Rules
• Administrative Code (Admin Code)

Key Responsibilities

• Review and update legal and legislative content based on new laws, amendments, changes, and repeals.
• Copy-edit legal content forgrammar, spelling, consistency, formatting, and accuracy.
• Review and proofread edited content to ensure that changes have been entered correctly.
• Analyze and apply appropriatetags, markups, and formattingto prepare content for digital publication.
• Perform quality checks on legal content before it is published or released.
• Coordinate with internal teams and subject matter experts when clarification or additional information is needed.
• Identify errors, inconsistencies, or potential issues and escalate them appropriately.
• Follow established editorial procedures, quality standards, production schedules, and deadlines.
• Maintain accurate records and tracking of assigned tasks and projects.
• Support continuous improvement by identifying recurring errors and suggesting ways to improve processes.
• Collaborate with team members and provide support when needed to meet team production goals.
• Learn and become certified in applicablestatutory editorial tools, processes, and LexisNexis platforms.
• Navigate and work with legal digital platforms such asLexis+, eBooks, and other electronic legal media.

Work Setup

Work Arrangement:Hybrid –2 days onsite per Month, with the remaining days working from home.

Ideal Candidate

• A Bachelor's degree inLegal Management, Political Science, English, Journalism, Communication, or a related field.
• Strong written English and attention to detail.
• Good proofreading, editing, and research skills.
• The ability to work with structured information and follow detailed processes.
• Willingness to learn legal content systems and digital publishing tools.
