About the Role:

I8IS INC is looking for a motivated and skilled Mid-Level Full Stack Developer to join our development team in Karachi. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience building and maintaining modern web applications and be comfortable working across both frontend and backend technologies.

You will work closely with our development, product, and project management teams to build scalable applications, improve existing systems, troubleshoot technical issues, and deliver reliable software solutions.

Key Responsibilities

Develop, maintain, and enhance full-stack web applications.

Build responsive and user-friendly frontend interfaces.

Develop and maintain backend services, APIs, and application logic.

Integrate REST APIs and third-party services.

Work with relational and/or NoSQL databases.

Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve application bugs and performance issues.

Write clean, reusable, maintainable, and well-structured code.

Participate in code reviews and follow development best practices.

Collaborate with UI/UX designers, developers, and project managers to implement new features.

Maintain and improve existing applications and internal systems.

Use Git and version-control workflows effectively.

Assist with application deployment, testing, and production support.

Ensure applications are secure, scalable, and optimized for performance.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Approximately 2–4 years of professional full-stack development experience.

Strong knowledge of JavaScript and/or TypeScript.

Experience with modern frontend technologies such as React.js, Next.js, or similar frameworks.

Experience with backend technologies such as Node.js, Express.js, Python, or similar frameworks.

Good understanding of REST APIs and API integrations.

Experience working with databases such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, or similar technologies.

Familiarity with Git/GitHub and collaborative development workflows.

Good understanding of responsive web development.

Knowledge of authentication, authorization, and application security fundamentals.

Strong debugging and problem-solving skills.

Ability to work independently as well as within a development team.

Good communication and time-management skills.

Preferred Skills

Experience with cloud platforms or deployment services such as AWS, Azure, Vercel, or similar platforms.

Familiarity with Docker and containerized applications.

Experience working with CI/CD pipelines.

Understanding of Agile development practices.

Experience integrating AI/LLM APIs or automation tools would be an advantage.
