JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Licenses: Active AZ license
  
• Board: BC/BE (NCCPA)
  
• DEA: Yes
  
• Certifications: BLS, ACLS
  
• Experience: Minimum 3 years in cardiothoracic surgery with EVH
  
• Other Qualifications: Graduate from NCCPA-approved program or Master's Degree in Nursing
  

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Provide coverage in CT Surgery department managing 10-15 CVICU/step down patients per day
  
• Assist in 1-2 cardiothoracic surgeries per day
  
• Perform special procedures including temporary pacemaker removal, chest tube removal, IABP removal, and Aline placement
  
• Take call from 3p – 7a on coverage days
  
• Utilize proficiency with EVH (endoscopic vein harvesting) during surgical cases
